I was born in Portugal. I grew up with my brother. I had a happy childhood.

We had vacations every summer with my cousins, we had a lot of fun together… Each year we looked forward to our summer vacation. We went to my father’s parents’ village. Everything was very basic: there was no electricity, we went with torches. This was a rural environment: we watched people farming, picking potatoes. Everyone thought we are special because we came from the city. As children we enjoyed the fact that everyone was giving us a special treatment.
